Kastle releases Time Traveler on Seclusiasis

Our friends over at Seclusiasis are proud to present their latest release from Kastle, and the first vinyl release in over a year! On June 6th the "Time Traveler" EP will hit you on 12" and digital.

This EP showcases the full spectrum of Kastle’s sound, from the 2-step of the title track to the grimey riddim “Bring Me Back” and the dynamic and moving “Walking Away,” featuring acclaimed MC Armanni Reign (Metalheadz, Gasm). Each track paints a unique picture, and they could all easily be singles in their own right.

Illusive synths, featured vocal presence from Armanni Reign and Dominique, and steppy mystic percussions make this EP, a masterpiece of a selection.

Seclusiasis Presents: Gazziliaan Yeers EP

Our good friends over at Seclusiasis Records have been kind enough to share a FREE download from Rotterdam's HALP.

Halp's "Gazziliaan Yeers" EP is out today as an exclusive pre-release with Boomkat, full release date everywhere on June 6th!

Rotterdam’s Lowriders Collective member, Halp, drops his second release! Gazziliaan Yeers is his debut EP, following up last Fall’s “Leek” single on Seclusiasis.

The sounds on this EP take you for a twisted journey of glitched out beat perspectives. Think of lazer bass, dubstep, tropical and 8-bit all smashed and regurgitated into its own thing. Among other things, Cabbage screams at you to pump ya fist on the dancefloor, Ass invigorates your booty to bounce, and Bablingggg will make your face scrunch n’ shoulders shake.

Halp, aka Thomas de Rijk, hails from the Rotterdam, NL bass scene. He’s had remixes out on Robox-Neotech, Slit Jockey Records, Car Crash Set and more. He’s been featured in Generation Bass, Symbiosis, and “Leek” was in Beatport’s Dubstep Chart Top 50 in Nov 2010.

Dash EXP "Soundview" EP HNHEP011

Our next offering, the 'Soundview EP', comes from our neighbor and Seattle resident, Dash EXP

A New York native and love child, Dash EXP learned shortly after purchasing his very first set of turntables that his father had also been a New York City DJ--literally planting the seed for a life of musical escapades

As a Producer and DJ, some of his main influences hail back to the musique concréte movement (1940s & 50's) lead by Shaeffer and Stockhausen. Other current acts like Nine Inch Nails, early Roni Size, American Grunge and cutting edge experimental media artists like Gary Hill, Vito Acconci and Jack Smith have paved the way for Dash EXP to create a sound of his own

This EP is a reflection of his roots in NY with sounds of UK Funky, Dubstep, Garage and splashes of Techno

Sundaze

A weekend Update:

Saturday afternoon we chilled at Dolores Park to soak up some of the recent bit of sunshine we've been getting. Later that night we headed down to Public Works for the Surefire North American Spring Tour stop here in San Francisco. What an end to an epic day!

It's amazing to see the local Bass Music Community coming together to support this event. With such an eclectic line up this is just what the Bay Area needed.

Big Up to Surefire, Dubspot and Co. for this Saturday's amazing event at Public Works. Pearson Sound and Zed Bias and local support did not disappoint!
