Bay Area Bass Vol.3 HNHLP021

"Pooling the best of San Francisco's 2-step, future garage and bass scene, Hot N Heavy's third volume in this series is a top source of some seriously impressive, upcoming talent. Kasio's opening "Back To The Garage" is straight-up stunning, with incredibly deep oceanic pads filtered down magnificently to a drop of crunchy and twitchy drums. Similarly, Red Army, Reilly Steel, Commodore 69 and Ground Control all prove more than a match for British kindred spirits like Joy O, Pearson Sound and the Night Slugs crew." - Juno Download (3.23.2012)

We're proud to present the next chapter of our best selling compilation Bay Area Bass. Currently sitting at #1 on Juno's Bass Albums charts volume three features Various Artists: Afterburner, Bad Looks, Commodore 69, Dj Dials, Fishstix, Ground Control, Jack Buser, Kasio, Konnekt, Red Army, Reilly Steel, So What and Sublo. All offer a tasty and unique side of Bass Music that is sure to get any dance floor moving. We hope you enjoy this compilation as much as we do. Ez Listening! Booty By The Pound Mix Series by Jameson Just

I met Jameson at a club called the Power Plant in Seattle circa 1996. It was one of the grimiest underground venues back in the day. He and I were budding djs at the time, both trying to get any gigs we could. We live and breathe mixing records and I have mad respect for his skills on the 1's & 2's, he really knows how to work the crowd into a frenzy. Have a listen to his mixes and download them if want to have a good time.

Jameson Just - Seattle, WA

Unlike many seasoned DJs who stick to the tried and true, Jameson breaks rank and is as versatile as he is vested. Jameson uses his steady skills to bring fresh sounds to life on dance floors no matter where he is playing. Always on-point and never scared, Jameson is currently injecting the electronic music community with a fierce energy and his unique take on Tech House/Booty-Tech, delivering sets dusted with minimal and laced with a little techno and house as well. Some people have been around the block, but Jameson has been around the country on a carpet of magic beats since he started spinning records in 1996, mixing at rave parties and dance clubs in the North West region.
Jameson's earnest energy and straightforward style is a welcome refreshment in the laid-back land of rain. His sharpened talents have taken him to stages in Memphis, St. Paul, Atlanta, Portland, San Diego, Sacramento, Victoria and Vancouver BC, Canada.
You can catch Jameson on several podcasts including Mocean District, JoJoElectro and Plasmodium Radio.
With a collection of solid mixes out that highlight his versatility, smart mixing skills and track selection,Jameson continues to prove that he has been around for well over a decade for a reason and will no doubt be slinging beats on the dance floors of tomorrow as well.
